The College Connection first opened its doors to students in 2000 when Suzan Reznick began her successful career as an independent educational consultant. Over a decade ago, Mollie joined The College Connection as Associate Director. Having grown up around the family business and toured dozens of college campuses, Mollie hit the ground running with clients of her own. She went on to design and implement a college essay boot camp that she ran for private clients as well as at a local tutoring company. As Suzan was getting ready to retire, Mollie transitioned to the college access space where she worked and volunteered at several different New York City schools and non-profit organizations, helping some of the city’s most underserved students with the college process. After several years back in the world of private college counseling at Collegewise, Mollie felt inspired to resurrect The College Connection and carry the torch her mother lit over 2 decades ago!

A Legacy of Guidance

Vast Experience and a Tailored Approach

Mollie has worked with every kind of student from C students to A students; aspiring artists to aspiring engineers; students who have gone to large state schools, highly selective universities, and small liberal arts colleges. She believes strongly in the transformative power of higher education, academically and socially, and with her extensive knowledge of schools (having been on over 100 college campuses), she loves finding those “best fit” colleges for her students.

While she enjoys working with a broad array of students, as a former theatre major, Mollie has developed a specialty for working with aspiring performing and fine arts majors and helping them determine what sort of arts experience would suit them best (BA vs. BFA/BM, conservatory vs. conservatory style, etc)! She also works with a team of experts to support students with the audition/portfolio review process to help ensure the strength of their application.

Mollie is based in Northern Westchester (NYC suburbs) but works with students all across the country!
